Position: Agricultural Commodities Trader

Location: Global
Watson & Fine is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Agricultural Commodities Trader to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in trading agricultural commodities, a established client bank and a track record of successful trades.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and evaluating profitable trading opportunities in the agricultural commodities market
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers
- Negotiating prices and executing trades for a variety of agricultural commodities, including but not limited to grains, oilseeds, and softs.
- Managing and monitoring open trades, ensuring they are in line with established risk management strategies
- Keeping up-to-date with market trends and news, and adjusting trading strategy accordingly
- Communicating with other traders, brokers, and clients to negotiate prices and execute trades.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in trading agricultural commodities
- Strong understanding of the agricultural market and commodities
- A established client bank and demonstratable proof of previous trades
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and incoterms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- A sound understanding of Financial instruments
- An in depth knowledge of Incoterms
